The New Trier Rugby Club is a volunteer-run, non-for-profit organization governed by a Board of Directors comprised of committed parents of players. Our mission is to promote respect, trust, loyalty and enjoyment of the game of rugby. While the club bears the New Trier name, we are a club sport and welcome any North Shore high school student to join.
The New Trier Rugby Club is getting ready for the 2019 Season. Interest in rugby continues to gain popularity and we know there are quite a few student athletes who will be joining the Club for the first time. We will also be welcoming back all our rising Seniors and underclassmen.
NTRC has had a very successful past decade in developing the Club. Here’s what we’ve been up to:
Rugby is a Spring sport. Registration and practices start in early February. We will be practicing indoors until the weather is warm enough to move outside. Games begin late March and end over Memorial Day during the State Championships.
We are a no cut squad and welcome all players interested in learning this terrific sport and wanting to work hard to put in the time and effort to maximize their development. Please reach out if you have any questions to Sheridan@advancedgroup.com .
